An incredible Summer in Jerusalem!

Who: Religious college students, both men and women

When: June 19 - August 4, 2019

What: Participants will live together in Jerusalem, work in an internship of their choice during the day and study Torah in the evenings. Details below.

Cost: $700 Early Bird (application received by January 15, 2019). $870 Regular. Includes: housing, personalized internship placement, Beit Midrash program, and Shabbatot. If you have an alternative work/study framework for the summer and don’t need internship placement, you may participate in the program at a reduced cost. Please ask us for details.


Housing.

Paricipants stay in beautiful, modern apartments in the Katamon neighborhood of Jerusalem. All apartments include AC, WiFi, and full kitchen.

Torah.

A vibrant evening learning program offering a full array of shiurim, teachers, social events and learning opportunities. Our Beit Midrash is led by Rabbi Elie and Miriam Schwartz (OU-JLIC at UMD) and features outstanding educators from OU-JLIC, TVA, Mizrachi and other Jerusalem scholars. See more details here.

Community.

Creating an exciting community of religious college students. OU-JLIC educators Rabbi Elie and Miriam Schwartz will be spending the summer in Jerusalem with you, along with students and staff from all over the world.

Orientation:

Orientation will offer a chance to get to know each other, learn about best practices for working and living in Israel, settle into Jerusalem, and spend Shabbat together.

The program includes:

  • Housing (including WiFi, AC, and kitchen)

  • Personalized internship placement in the field of your choice through Career Israel

  • Educational staff and programming

  • Occasional Shabbat Meals and Programming

The program does not include:

  • Airfare to Israel

  • Health Insurance (mandatory)

  • Travel within Israel (to internships or otherwise)

  • Food (except at program events and special Shabbat meals)
